Retired computer programmer/analyst Married 3
Can't wait to see everyone!  We missed the 30th reunion because we were in New York for the National Veteran's Wheelchair Games where Wayne took a gold and 2 silver medals.  I am so very proud of all that he has accomplished.  His enthusiasm and commitment keeps us very active.  Since high school, I have been devoted to my family and stayed home with our 3 daughters for the first 10 years of our marriage.  When the youngest started school, so did I! Needed to show a few people I could marry young and still be successful.  I graduated from SLU with a degree in Computer Science and taught there for a couple of years.  Then, I took a position at SLU as coordinator of a Computer Assisted Learning Lab with 200 micro-computers.  From there, I went to work for a private computer programming company where I worked my way up to VP.  My skills were best suited to the training phase of the software development, but I did everything from analysis and design, to programming and documentation, to system installation.  Our work was mainly governmental applications ranging from accounting to port authority systems.  I retired in 2004 and there are never enough hours in the day for all I want to do.  Wayne and I have traveled extensively over the last 40 years.  We love camping and have enjoyed 2 wonderful summers camping our way to Alaska and back.  If fuel prices were not so high, that's where we'd be now! I just have to talk him into investing in some real estate up there.... The problem with long trips is being away from the grandchildren. What a joy they are!  I love to garden and cook and have been selling home-made jellies for about a year, just as a hobby.

Retired fire communications officer Married 3
After graduation, I married Madeline Crochet (no surprise there) and 40 years later we have 3 daughters (two are nurses and one is a social worker and Afghanistan veteran).  We have 3 grandchildren ages 7, 6, and 15 months.  I enlisted as a Navy corpman and served 3 years in San Diego.  Then in 1978 I went to work for the Baton Rouge Fire Department and retired as a communications officer 26 years later.  After retirement I went to work as Executive Director for the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) Bayou Gulf States Chapter which covers AL, MS and LA.  In 2006 Mad and I managed an accessible van rental business.  Hunting has always been an obsession to me and after a hunting accident that left me paralyzed in 1998, that did not change.  In 2004, I was awarded Safari Club's highest honor for community service - the Pathfinder Award - which is given to an individual who promotes hunting and demonstrates courage and service to the physically challenged community.  Madeline and I were sent to South Africa for a Plains game hunting safari. I serve on the Board of Directors for the local PVA, am chairman of the Statewide Independent Living Council, and serve on the Governors Advisory Council on Disability Affairs.  In 2006, Mad and I drove to Alaska (camping along the way) where I attended the National Veteran's Wheelchair Games and won a gold medal in basketball.  We enjoyed the trip so much, we camped our way back again in 2009 - panned for gold, fished for salmon on the Kenai, went bear hunting in the bush and enjoyed the outdoors.  My most vivid memories of high school include cheering for Gary Watts as he returned the football 96 yards to beat Broadmoor; and Madeline looking back at me in front of Mrs. Brumfield's class.

Retired Single 1
Recently I retired from the Baton Rouge Police Department.  It was the job of my dreams.  I worked in many divisions over the years, Burglary, Narcotics, K-9, Crime Stoppers, just to name a few.  What fun.

Some of the best times of my life are spent living in Henderson on a houseboat, fishing and dancing to Cajun music.  I love the Atchafalaya Basin Swamp.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.  Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler!!!!!!!!

My family and friends are huge to me - still always enjoying Connie Braud and Pam McCulloch's company.  We travel together often.  I have been in all of their weddings!!!  My "boyfriend", Buddy Moore, is a true adventure, and has brightened my life with all our activities and travel.
