Kaye Contine (Liles)
first grade teacher Married 2
Thanks to the planning and organizing committee. I am still surprised that we have arrived at our FORTIETH reunion! I don't feel that old...
I have been married for 35 years, and I have two grown children. My daughter, a mechanical engineer, has been married for 9 years and has two beautiful boys. My son works for Exxon, and he just got married last month.
I retired from EBR schools after 23 years, and I have been a first grade teacher at Episcopal for the past 13 years. I teach with Bridget Comeaux Berrigan. We have remained best friends since first grade at Sacred Heart School. I have been blessed with great family and friends. I look forward to reconnecting with Istrouma classmates.

teacher Married 1

After graduation, I attended SLU and majored in speech correction/elementary education. Joined Phi Mu sorority and met my husband Rod. We've been married for 36 years. I received an M.Ed. from LSU and my gifted education certification from William Carey. I worked in Baton Rouge and New Orleans as a public school speech therapist for 7 years, but for the last 23 years, I have been a teacher of intellectually gifted students in the small town of Picayune, Mississippi where we now live. Our only child, Jennifer, is married and we have a two year old granddaughter, Meredith. If all goes well, I will retire in two years, and I'm looking forward to having more time to spend on the things I enjoy...reading, scrapbooking, traveling and playing with my grandchild. I'm looking forward to rekindling old friendships at our reunion.

Sales Married 2
Brenda and I will be married 34 years this April 16th. Not sure what or where I would be without her. We have two children, Alan, 30, father of our two grandsons and another baby due in September. They live in Kentucky and we do not see them often enough. Dianna, 27, is the mother of 8 month old twin girls. They live in Denham Springs, and as you can imagine, we make the I-12 crawl a lot to see the girls.
I kind of stumbled into sales of analytical instrumentation. Get to meet some interesting and very smart people throughout the South. I work with a manufacturer's rep group out of Texas. Brenda works in medical administration for a group of doctors.
We enjoy visiting with friends, especially if there is food involved. Playing golf, LSU tailgating, and reading are my favorite pastimes. Brenda enjoys exercising, working in our yard, and making our house a warm, comfortable home. We are active in our church as well.
Cynthia Delise (Marchbanks)
Accounting Specialist at Nicholls Married
I have 2 grandchildren.  My hobbies include painting, reading, traveling, photography, and I like to bake.  My biggest adventure was ziplining with friends on a trip to Hawaii and on the same trip got a tattoo!!  I did not go to college right after high school, but I did go 1996-2001 to Nicholls and graduated with an Associate Degree in General Studies and a GPA of 3.67.  My fondest memory of HS woud be my first day there.  I went to Catholic school for 9 years, so my first day at public school was a big change for me---one that I LIKED!  Worst memory would be Ricky Brewer breaking my heart... High School Romance!  Most vivid memory would be being put in the first ever computer class.
